Why we stayed true to affiliate marketing

In the past, Robert Studený and I had the opportunity to build a multidisciplinary media agency because, after their success with us in affiliate marketing, our clients wanted us to take care of other disciplines for them as well. The trick is not to get carried away and to stick to your strong intention. And we wanted to be #1 in affiliate marketing in the CEE region. We consider affiliate marketing to be the purest form of performance marketing. But honestly, we seriously considered those opportunities many times.

Why I invested in Testuj.to

When we had the opportunity to be at the beginning of Testuj.to (now Mylou Company a.s.), we decided to invest. Testuj.to increases the credibility of brands’ products, and thus their sales, through user reviews of their products and services. Testuj.to has 100,000+ registered and trained reviewers who test products and write structured and rich reviews from real customers. If a brand wants to raise awareness of a product or is just launching it on the market, customer reviews are a must.

Mylou – reviews for hospitality and services

Testuj.to has also launched the Mylou mobile app, where clients from the catering and service industries in particular order campaigns to create UGC (user-generated content) in the form of reviews of their restaurants, hotels, services, etc. It is an almost automated service where we connect service providers and micro-testers.

Why this investment makes sense for the whole portfolio

This service is complementary to our business, as we have mutual clients. In addition, Testuj.to is located in the CEE region, where our companies are also based. Ultimately, we have fulfilled our clients’ expectations that we will take care of their additional marketing, but through new and different projects with our own teams.
