Why not swap your car for a light, elegant bike in the city?

Everyday Stress Behind the Wheel

I always used to commute to Prague by car, and when there were no P+R parking lots on the outskirts of the city, I had to drive all the way to the center to get to the office. At traffic lights, I see other desperate people sitting alone in their cars.

Honestly, driving in the city is the most stressful thing for me. The helplessness, the wasted time. Yes, I plan to listen to podcasts, watch interviews on YouTube, etc. But still, it often takes up two hours of my life every day.

Public Transport as a Rational Solution

There are many concepts of urban transport. The most traditional and, in my opinion, the best is public transport. Today, I mainly use it. I leave my car at Černý Most on the outskirts of Prague and continue by metro. Unfortunately, the parking garage with a capacity of over 900 spaces is already full by 9 a.m., and the problem has been recurring for several years.

Getting Around the City Center: A Bike Makes Sense

Once you get to the center, you have to figure out how to get around.

Trams and the metro are a great choice, but what if you want to move around a bit, stretch your legs a little? Please, I’m not talking about electric scooters, which I consider more of a dangerous attraction for tourists than a means of transportation.

I mean a nice, elegant, comfortable, lightweight bike. Yes, Prague is not entirely ideal due to the valley in which it lies, but the entire city center and everything along the river is ideal for cycling. The city council has also taken advantage of this opportunity and equipped us with bike paths in the city center. The same is becoming true for Bratislava and other cities where we operate.

Investing in Bicycles for the CEE Region

We had the opportunity to invest in URBANE, the distributor of tokyobike for our market. These are beautiful bikes designed in Japan and precision-manufactured in Taiwan.

We currently supply bikes to stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In our attractive showroom in Karlín, Prague 8, you can choose lightweight and beautiful bikes for your little ones and yourself.

Investing in Healthier Cities

Cities should be cleaner, with fewer cars and exhaust fumes. People would be healthier if they exercised naturally. This investment fulfills one of my values of investing in the future and in society.

Bicycles are purchased not only by conscious individuals, but also by companies for their employees who ride their bikes to meetings in the city center. It’s always a great icebreaker at the beginning of a meeting with a client or partner.
