Hrot Magazine: Getting Efficient with AI

Magazín hrot24.cz - měsíčník, květen 2026,

In May 2026, Hrot magazine published a special issue dedicated to artificial intelligence and efficiency in business. The editorial team reached out to leading Czech entrepreneurs, investors and technology leaders with one question: how is AI actually changing the way companies operate day to day?

Vladan Hejnic was among those quoted.

In the section focused on the AI-native company concept, Vladan described his approach to transformation:

Transforming a company in response to a new technology trend can be a long-distance run.

Vladan Hejnic, e-commerce entrepreneur and investor, chose to apply a different approach in the companies he works with. “Instead of a complex rebuild of the existing organisation, we built a new one alongside it. Not as a replacement, but as a faster lane. The existing company keeps doing what it does well. Next to it, a smaller organisation emerges, designed from day one for a world where data, automation and artificial intelligence are a natural part of work.” The new company has, in his view, one major advantage. It carries no history. “It has no technical debt and no processes that need to be painfully rewritten.

From day one it can operate with AI as part of the work, not as an add-on.” And growth does not require more hiring. “When more customers arrive, the company does not open a new recruiting round. It expands its automations, processes and digital agents instead.” Mass unemployment? Not a concern. “Quite the opposite. Cheaper technology means there is room for far more small and mid-sized companies to emerge.”
